The limited collection of street photography by Chris Ridley, captured over a decade of walking the streets of London between 2010-2020. Street photography has always been a creative outlet for his own personal work.

We cast off across the ocean heading towards the horizon. Dark brooding clouds hover in the distance but we journey on propelled by wonder and curiosity.

We discover tiny islands in the middle of the blue. We set foot on powdery shores, explore miniature jungles, uncover hidden troves and discover natures wisdom from local friends. We paddle up unknown rivers from the ocean to find glass still crystal clear lakes. We dive deep under the aqueous blanket to hear the drumming of rain on waves.

These ‘once in a lifetime’ moments are fleeting, transformative and inimitable. I immersed myself in them, reluctant to leave and yearning to be lost.

I left a piece of myself in each of those seas.
