Neil Forkes - Stained Glass Craftsman

I had the pleasure of watching Neil work at St Andrews Church in Wickmere, Norfolk, whilst he was in the finishing stages of repair and re-mortaring of an ancient set of church windows, having already hand made replacement clear and stained glass sections, as well as structural repairs to the brick and blockwork.

It was quite Incredible to learn how many hours it takes to do detailed repairs and restorations such as these, Neil had incredible patience and and an obvious eye for detail. The way he spoke about the love of his work was inspiring to say the least.

We are lucky to have people like him, who are so in love with their work and have the uttermost respect for the historic importance of these type of incredible buildings and structures.
